Repower is an international energy company based in Switzerland. It operates along the entire value chain, from generation, trading, transmission and distribution to sales. In Italy and Germany, Repower is also involved in the gas business. The group employs around 770 people.
In 2012 Repower sold around 16 terawatt hours of electricity. Trading accounted for around three fifths of this, and supply and sales for two fifths. Proprietary generation came to around 1.9 terawatt hours in 2012. The group has its own generation assets in Switzerland (hydropower), Italy (combined-cycle gas power plant and wind power) and Germany (wind power). The Group’s total gas turnover volume in distribution, trading and for operating the Teverola power plant amounted to around 847 million cubic meters in 2012. |
Engagement with passion: Since 1966 TCS carries out independent tests in various areas of individual mobility: latest developments with combustion engines or electric motors, child car seats, tyres and further accessories, also route guidance systems, bike carriers and others are thoroughly tested. Safety and easy usability are always the most imported criteria of the evaluation. TCS supplies plenty of information, which are interesting for modern car drivers. The evaluation of new technologies allows to estimate their impact on the environment and on the society. TCS, being the only accredited testing centre for fuel consumption, can test the consumption of vehicles in laboratory conditions. |
