Experience and Pioneering Spirit in Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy

The Eisenring Engineering Office has been active for many years well beyond the fields of electric vehicles and small-scale hydropower. Particularly in electric mobility, the company is regarded as a pioneer and has realised groundbreaking projects – in part in collaboration with the Kuster Engineering Office and other partners:

• Contribution to the development of the Helios solar vehicles
• Development and operation of the electric vehicles Stromboli I and Stromboli II
• Installation and operation of one of Switzerland’s first private photovoltaic systems
• Successful implementation of several projects in Nepal, helping to secure the long-term viability of the electrically powered Safa Tempos

Further Successful Projects

In addition to vehicle development, further innovative solutions have been successfully implemented:

• Stromboli II Charging System
  Stromboli II is charged exclusively using surplus energy from the company’s own photovoltaic system. The charging system was developed entirely in-house.
• Second Life Home Battery Storage
  Decommissioned 22 kWh lithium batteries were not disposed of but sustainably repurposed. In their “second life”, they now serve as home energy storage systems, storing electricity generated by the company’s own photovoltaic installation.
